Ministry Team
Prayer Focus
Seven weeks of preparation and prayer to help you intercede for the Freedom Day.
The Freedom Day Prayer Focus (“Battle Preparation”) is a seven-week prayer guide for everyone serving on the ministry team. It’s designed to be prayed backwards from the Freedom Day itself – start at Week 7 the week you begin, and work down to Week 1, the week of the Freedom Day.
How to Use It
Each week has a focus area, a key scripture, specific prayer points, a declaration to pray over yourself and the team, and space for your own prayer journal. Use it alongside prayer, declaration of Scripture, fasting one day a week (plus a three-day fast in the final week before the Freedom Day), and putting on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Keep the booklet handy in your Bible for easy reference during prayer.
The Seven Weeks
- Week 7 – Personal Cleansing and Preparation
- Week 6 – Leadership (CSM staff, Freedom Day team, Seminar leaders)
- Week 5 – Ministry Team (Anointers, Intercessors, Worship team)
- Week 4 – Seminar Participants: releasing God’s heart and will
- Week 3 – Seminar Participants: resisting the enemy
- Week 2 – Location: the city, the church, and our host
- Week 1 – Comprehensive recap, then praise God for the victory
Anointers and Intercessors
The guide also explains how the two ministry team roles work together at the Freedom Day, drawing on the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall: Anointers minister close, hands-on and alongside participants, while Intercessors cover the day in prayer from the edges, guarding and protecting the work being done and the team doing it.
